Hi Fashionistas,

It is March 1 and we are in a new month. However before we talk about this new month. If you have been following me on Instagram you would have heard me talking about i decided to do a no spend February so i can relax and save some money as i was going overboard at the time.

As you know i am a lifestyle blogger and a fashion stylish so sometimes i like to update my wardrobe frequently and what happens is i have way too much and then i have to purge my closet. So i decided i was not doing that and was going to wear what i have pay more on my bills and keep it moving.

I had an accountability partner through this process which made it better as she helped me alot especially when i wanted to give up. You wonder why i would give up as it is hard. I have always Said i would do a no spend month and would throw in the towel this time i was determined.

I will not lie when i tell you the first two weeks were hard but after that i was good. Actually i was unbothered. I realize what i did not need at all and that i utilize my closet more. I was also able to focus on my business that i have started at this time (online styling consultant and custom clothing and accessory design specialists ). I will talk more about this in another post.

Through this experience i learned about budgeting more and why i was shopping the way i was which i will explain soon. This process has been amazing that moving forward i know i may be continuing for a few more months but having limits which will include a shopping budget and more.

Getting a great car for the right price.

When me and my husband were looking for a new car, we knew what was in our budget and what we can afford.

So when searching for the right car we went through different searches such as make and model. With car.com you you can use their site to obtain pricing on the lastest cars and it will provide you with the pricing and possible payment options. It will direct you of different car dealerships you can go to for further pricing.

This was beneficial for me and my husband when looking for our car. We were able to obtain a 2017 honda accord at our price point. 

I was extremely excited and happy as we were able to get the car we want at the price we wanted.

Hi fashionistas, 

Happy Monday i hope everyone had a blessed and productive weekend. Im obessed with plaid and love it so much lol and when i saw this two peice set from macys i had to grab it. 

What makes it great i can pair the vest with jeans or a skirt or wear the pants alone with a blouse or sweater. 

I paired it with a turtle neck sweater and some booties.  The hat was the added accessory.

Hi Fashionistas ,

Hope everyone had a great weekend , I spent mines relaxing but on saturday ,i hosted with a few friends a vision board party which was so much fun but i will tell you  more about that in another post coming this week.

Now i know you are wondering Drea what is with the topic. Being a fashion blogger for the last four years has been amazing but it can also place a dent in your closet from time to time due to you always wanting to keep up with the lastest fashions and just having it all. For me i just love fashion period  and i think working at my previous job which was in child welfare and very stressful at the time , shopping was a way to release my stress and other triggers.

Now that i am at a different environment and also want to change my style , i have been doing clothing purges. I am going through everything from clothing, bags to shoes. Most is being  donated and others i am planning to sell on my poshmark account. Now there are some items that i give to close close friends but that it is it.

I am also thinking about doing a closet sale but need to figure out exactly how that will work. I know i was told i should do a clothing swap which i think is nice but the previous ones ive been to in the past i was not impressed by lol.

So starting February 1 i am going on a no shopping spree , meaning only buying things that i need not the things that i want because i have enough at this time ( more than enough). I already have an accountability partner and im excited . I do not know how long  i will plan to do the no shop for maybe till my vacation coming up which is in July so that will be four months. I can do it no pressure. I will check in and keep everyone updated on how well i do.

Hi fashionistas , 

Todays post is all about this aamazing  oversized sweatshirt and striped skirt both combined was under fifty dollars win. 

The shirt i scored from my local marshalls for 12 dollars and the skirt was from the banana Republic outlet and it was only 16 dollars. The denim jacket is a thrifted.

The booties are some comfortable and cute. scored them from lowes. this whole look gave me fall vibes.

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Once again i am here with another post with Groupon. If you saw my previous post than you already know how much i love groupons.

This post is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own.

Living in NYC there is so much to do but it can be so expensive but with groupons there are amazing deals you can catch to enjoy the city life.

I have personally use groupon to do so many fun events such as paint and sip where you can enjoy wine and paint at the same time. This was a great event and it was affordable as well. When it comes to date night me and my husband always likes to try fun and different activities. So when i saw groupon had the paint and sip event i knew we had to try it. Now im not no artist but it was all about the fun we had and the fact we only spent $50 dollars for the both of us made it much more fun. Now without groupon we would have paid $100 a person so we saved alot.

Another fun event for only $14 is a liberty cruise for two which is great as you can see the statute of liberty and enjoy other sites as the brooklyn bridge for example. This is perfect for date night.

For the concert lovers like myself there are also great deals on shows you can see as well which is a plus since concert tickets are very pricy (trust me i know)

Overall the possibility’s are endless but with groupon you will never break the bank or your budget.

The weekend has came and gone in a blink of an eye but I wanted to give you a cute weekend look I did a few weeks back.

Living in nyc there is so much you can do just to enjoy. When I have those days I love to dress casual and comfortable but still look cute lol.

This whole look believe it not minus the leggings and accessories came from target. The dress and kimono was from a recent trip in the clearance section.

The slip on sequin shoes were from last year. Which they are my favorite. The whole look gave me the bohemian vibe but the tribal print of the kimono and dress is so cute.

Black is my go to when I can not decide what to wear.
