Hi fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a blessed and productive week. It has been a short one as i was off on friday before new years eve which is what i was happy i did as i got to spend so much needed time with my sister friends who i love adore and are family to me.

2016 has been a year for me . I have to say there has been some highs with getting to work with brands, covering new york fashion week, and just expanding the blog where more people know who i am. As well as landing a new job.That was such a blessing.

With highs there are lows and the death of my grandfather was very hard and still hard for me to process as i love him and still do . I know he is so proud of me and watching over me everyday.

I learned so much this year in which i can see it has helped me to put what matters first in perspective.

So as 2017 approaches im looking forward to expanding my brand and blog more and just being successful.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a blessed and productive weekend. Mines consisted of baking in this extremely hot weather feeling like I was melting every second. I know i shouldn’t complain especially when it could be worse but seriously heat and me do not mix.

In today’s look this jean jacket is a favorite all time of mine and it comes from Kimora Lee Simmons old line babyphat. Anybody that knows me knows how much I love baby phat clothing. I actually had matching jeans to the jacket but got rid of it smh

What I love about this jacket is that it has the words faith written on it and a cross on one of the sleeves. In this world that we are living in you have to have faith in order to get through all that you may be doing through.

I know i can relate at times. I paired the jacket with this amazing black sleeveless jean jumper that my husband purchased for me. I love the fit of it. Can you believe it is the Nikki minaj collection from kmart.

I wore my Burgendy adidas which I love as well. It made the whole look go perfect . Added a statement necklace and hat and it was perfect .

I would totally paired the jumper with boots and a button down shirt to transition for fall. Let me know your thoughts on this look.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday. We finally made it towards the weekend and I know we are all happy. Especially if you had a long work week.

As you all may know by now I am a fashion blogger. When I started my blog I did not know how far it would go or take me. I started blogging as an outlet and to show off my great sense of fashion and style. I also believe in showing affordable style as well that everyone can relate to.

So when I saw this cute little shirt from my local rainbow store I knew I had to have it. Rainbow is the perfect store to shop for trendy items that are affordable and do not break the bank.

I paired this top with some ripped distressed jeans that I owned for many years. They are my most comfy and favorite pair of jeans. I wore some sneakers to make it casual.

The shirt was only 3 dollars on clearance which was a plus In my book and pockets. I hope you enjoyed the look . Until next time.
