Hi Fashionistas, 

Happy Monday.  I hope everyone had a blessed and productive weekend. Mines consisted of baking in this extremely hot weather feeling like I was melting every second. I know i shouldn’t complain especially when it could be worse but seriously heat and me do not mix.

In today’s look this jean jacket is a favorite all time of mine and it comes from Kimora Lee Simmons old line babyphat. Anybody that knows me knows how much I love baby phat clothing. I actually had matching jeans to the jacket but got rid of it smh

What I love about this jacket is that it has the words faith written on it and a cross on one of the sleeves. In this world that we are living in you have to have faith in order to get through all that you may be doing through.

I know i can relate at times. I paired the jacket with this amazing black sleeveless jean jumper that my husband purchased for me. I love the fit of it. Can you believe it is the Nikki minaj collection from kmart. 

I wore my Burgendy adidas which I love as well. It made the whole look go perfect . Added a statement necklace and hat and it was perfect .

I would totally paired the jumper with boots and a button down shirt to transition for fall. Let me know your thoughts on this look.

Hi Fashionistas, 

I wanted to share a new post with you today. If you saw my post from last week then you know my obsession with maxi skirts and floral print. 

This skirt was love at first sight but I think all my clothes I fall in love with when first seeing them lol. 

I saw this skirt at the local mystique boutique in soho. If your a new yorker you know that is where to go from time to time to find some amazing clothing for half the price 

I paired this skirt with a basic white tee to   make the skirt stand out. I paired it with a bold statement necklace. This necklace I purchased from express years ago and it is still an amazing piece. 

To add the extra touch I wore some white lace espadrilles that I purchased last summer from my favorite store kohls.

Hi Fashionistas, 

Happy Thursday . I hope everyone had an amazing, blessed and productive week. This week will be about floral as I have been loving the print lately and it has been piling up in my closet lol.

When I saw this floral maxi skirt with matching crop top. I knew it had to come home with me. For one I love maxi skirts. 

I wanted to make the crop top work appropriate so I paired it with a camisole and blazer. This was look I actually wore to work and then out to dinner for my husband’s bday so it shows how you can wear an outfit for work and play.

Hi Fashionistas, 

Happy Wednesday it was a nice and long extended weekend in which I always state the weekends is what I live for. 

I have not been blogging like I normally do is because if you follow me on social media I started a new job in which I al enjoying and getting used to. 

There has been so many different obstacles and challenges that have been thrown my way but I see such a clearer path my way hence the title of my post.

Stepping out on faith is the beginning but seeing my purpose is so much clearer now in a different element.

On to the look :). This jumpsuit is from last summer from H & m and it is perfect comfortable and of course my favorite leopard print but in different colors. 

I paired it with some denim espadrilles and matching hat. Hope you enjoy the look until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday.  I hope everyone weekend was blessed and amazing.  If you follow me on snap chat then you know my weekend consisted of just being present and living in the moment. There are often times we forget about the simple things in life such as being with our family and friends especially when you are always busy and on the go.

For me that is my life at times so I dedicated the whole weekend spending time with my husband and family which is always a great time.

Now on to the look :). Gray is like the new black in many ways as it goes well with some many colors believe it or not. I paired one of my favorite midi skirts with this nice leopard print top that I purchased from h and m last year. Paired it with a cute suede moto jacket and leopard flats and the look was perfect.

I like to call it my working girl on the move look lol. I am always on the go.

For the Fringe of It

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday, Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was able to spend mines doing so spring cleaning. I’m currently cleaning out my closets which is long overdue and very much needed. If you have been following me for awhile then you know how much i love fringe. When i found this skirt at my local thrift store i almost want to do a cartwheel, back flip and run around the store literally because i loved the skirt. The fact it was my size made it perfect for me.

The Skirt i only paid drum-roll please…..$9.oo yes that’s right and it had the tags attached to it so it was still new. The retail price was $129.00. I decided i wanted to make the skirt standout so i paired it with a simple black long sleeve top and wore some leopard studded pumps.

I actually wore this look to an event i was able to attend which i will talk about soon. It was perfect. I would wear this look for special occasion or a regular date night with the hubs. I, hope you enjoy the look , until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. I must say my weekend was so amazing. I was able to spend time with my family and attend church to hear and amazing word. If you follow me on snap chat then you heard the extra word my pastor gave to me and my husband.

When i saw this suit at target i knew i had to get it. I waited too long at the time it came out but the thrift store to the rescue lol. I love thrifting and i have to say over time i have gotten very good and know where to go and what to find.

I have a tendency to match everything so when i realized i had the matching stockings i had to laugh at myself. The whole look was super cute and perfect. It was actually one of my work looks but also would use to go on an interview as well.

Valentine’s Day Glam

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mines was amazing. I had brunch with two girlfriends on Saturday and on Sunday I spent the day with my husband for valentine’s day. We relaxed earlier in the day having homemade breakfast but in the evening we attended a wedding.

So for this wedding I knew I had an idea of what I wanted to wear. I have been really shopping my closet lately which is always good and saves money lol.

The lace top is actually a dress that o purchased from H &M last year and I love it cause lace adds the extra sexy in an outfit. This gold midi skirt is amazing purchased from a local store by my job. It was actually gifted to me by a friend if mine.

I paired the look with my blue suede frindge boots and for accessories I wore little jewlery as I wanted the outfit to stand out.

Overall I had a great time with my husband with great food and laughter and some dancing.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Friday . I am so happy we are at the end of the work week . It was a short one but crazy busy for me. I just wanted to share with you a super cute look i did last week. With the change of the weather, layering has been my favorite because you can maximize the most out of your wardrobe.

I adore this jeweled sweatshirt from Jcrew it is so comfortable and adds the extra glam that you need to bring out. It is not your typical boring sweatshirt. I paired it with a long sleeve denim shirt and some sequin denim jeans. I added my leopard sneaker booties for the extra touch.

One Skirt Styled Two Ways

Happy Thursday,

Hope everyone week is going well. I have been so busy with work this week but then again I am always busy at work lol. Life of a social worker.

I recently purchased this cute skirt from my local rainbow store. I love the material and the hi/lo style of it as I own it in black as well.

So for the first look I styled it perfect for work, pairing it with a v-neck sweater and blazer with a pair of grey knee high boots .

The second look I decided to make it more fun and swap the sweater and blazer for this cute sequin mickey mouse sweatshirt. Switch the boots for my lace up zara block heels and added the hat for the extra touch.

I loved the second look as it gives a different wear to the skirt in my opinion. Which one do you prefer one or two. Would love to hear your thoughts. Until next time.
