Hi Fashionistas,

T.G.I.F Who else besides myself is happy the weekend is approaching.  I’m just excited to not have any major plans this weekend as I have been extremely busy for the past weekends. Looking forward to organizing my house.

I know the title feeling blue can mean many things but for me it’s about this navy blue flowy dress that I scored from NY and Company for only $13 yes you see correctly.

I actually wore thus dress on one of the nights out on the town while I was away in punta cana.  I love how the dress look and feel. You could also wear it without the belt to if you want a different look.

I paired it with my clutch and sandals which were part of my basic trip essentials.  The key to packing is to pack a shoe that goes with most of your outfits. That way you do not overpack.

I loved everything about this look and I’m excited to wear this dress again.  So stay tune and look forward to your comments.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday.  It’s a gloomy day here in NYC which makes me go back to dreaming of my vacation from last month.

When it comes to summer I love a good summer dress. When I saw this dress at the banana republic outlet I loved everything about it. The print was amazing and the dress was lightweight which was a plus.

The dress has a mixture of two things I love stripes and a print pattern and together it worked well. I wanted the dress to stand out so I paired it with a simple necklace and cute sandals.
The coach clutch wristlet went with most of my outfits which was good if you do not want to over pack on bags :).

Hope you enjoy this look and I have one more to share with you by the end of the week. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. We all know about the infamous pineapple trend. I have seen so many tops and bottoms with the popular fruit but I was not sure if it was my style.

Last month I went away on vacation to Punta Cana in Dominican Republic and so I wanted some different vacation looks. Upon shopping I went to khols where I stumble upon this petersomo for Kohls shirt. What I love about this top was that it had a mixture of pineapples and stripes and it wasn’t all out there. The shirt was slow material and light.  I scored it on clearance as well which is a plus.  I paired it with some Denim shorts also from khols and my Kenneth Cole sandals I purchased from the outlet.

This look was perfect for those hot days on vacation. How do you wear rock the pineapple trend.  Would love to hear about it. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone having a great week so far. I’m excited for the week to be over and the lovely weekend to come into effect.

Peplum has been a trend that has been going on for awhile from skirts to shirts and dresses. I own a few in ny closet that I love.

When I saw this Eva Mendes for new York and company knitted dress. I knew it Belonged in my closet.  I love that it was simple and had the lace detail on it as well. The Peplum added the extra touch.

This dress is perfect to wear to work and after or even to a wedding.  Just by changing your accessories and shoes.

I paired my look with these cute sandals from express and one of my favorite statement necklaces.  Which gave the dress the extra touch.

Do you like peplum dresses and if so how would you wear it. Love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy monday. Hope everyone had a blessed weekend.  Mines was full of spending good times with family and friends.

I love to wear colorful outfits in the summer because they are fun. I also enjoy the two piece trend of matching outfit sets. I know I said this before but Jcpenney is my favorite store for some fashionable and affordable clothing.

I purchased this from jcpenney awhile back and decided to wear it recently to work. I initially was going to wear heels but I opted to wear my sandals. The skirt is high low and the top is actually a crop top but I pulled the skirt up so that it can be covered.

I love the colors as it looks like paint was thrown on it and made a great design lol. What I love is I can wear it separately as well wearing the top or skirt with other pieces in my closet which I will be doing.

Hope you enjoy this look and enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi Fashionistas,

Every one loves a cute and easy breezy summer outfit. I had recently started thrifting a year ago as I was living under a rock lol but I have been finding some amazing fines but I realize that you have to have time and patience when thrifting so you can look through everything.

On a recent trip to my local goodwill I stumble upon this cute knitted with tulle baby doll dress. Looking at it from the hanger I said this looks like a top because the way my body is shaped it was not happening lol.

So I paired it with some jean shorts that I made myself just by cutting it to the Length I want from an old pair I no longer wear. Paired it with my cute flats from nine west and a crop jean jacket.

This look was cute and one of my favorites for summer.  Hoped you enjoyed it as much as I did and have a great weekend.

Hi Fashionistas,

We all love the crop top trend and for me I adore it but wasn’t sure if u could pull it off the way I wanted to.

I purchased this cute pencil skirt from jcpenney awhile back and the crop top is also from there as well. I paired it with a lace kimono and sandals and it was the perfect date night look. Hope you enjoy this look as much as I did.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Monday.  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I just recently came back from vacation and already wish I was away again. I had the most amazing time which will be in another post.

Besides my normal color of purple lol. I love black and blue especially since they go together with almost everything.  I also love jogger pants because they can be dresses up and down.

These black and blue jogger pants were by guess and I purchased them on clearance from macs for under $20 which is a steal. I paired it with a simple black top with faux leather trim on sleeve from jcpenney the shoes were from dsw which I purchased on clearance as well.

There is really no dress code at my job so I always dress how I feel and I love taking some of my photos at night so you will be seeing more of that lol.

Hopefully you enjoy this post and look forward to your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy thursday. I decided to post one more blog post before I leave on my vacation.

I know you are wondering with the title little printed dress. We all heard of the little black dress or little white dress. Well I call this one my little printed dress.

When I saw this dress from j crew I knew it Belonged in my closet and I also purchased it at an amazing sale which is a plus as j crew can be pricy.

I love the floral print of the dress as it was bright and perfect for summer. I wore this for my bestie bachelorette party weekend and it was perfect.

This dress will be a repeat and seen quite often. Hope you enjoy this look. Look forward to your comments.

Hi Fashionistas,

Today is a double post as I was suppose to blog this look last week but I was having some technology issues.

Everyone loves a jump suit. I adore them because they can be worn to work and after work just by switching up a jacket or a shoe.

When I do not want to wear a dress or skirt to work I usually opt for the pants jumper. I love this one from one of my favorite stores. New York and company. I love the all black with hint of white by collar and the fit was a Taylor fit.

I paired it with my infamous blazer from target and these cute suede sling back flats from jcp I purchased last summer. My fedora hat was the extra touch. This was a great work and after work outfit by me just ditching the blazer.

I hope you enjoy the look and look forward to your thoughts.
