Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a fab weekend.  Mines was relaxing and just taking care of my errands. I am not a football fan so I did not watch the super bowl but hubby did with his friends and family. 

If you live in nyc you know that its snowing again urggh cant wait for spring.  This weather makes it complicated to take pics outdoors.

This look was on Friday. On Fridays I tend to dress casual for work depending on if I have no after work plans. This look was perfect to wear for after work as well.

The blazer I purchased earlier last year from Jcpenny and what stood out about it was the lace details and the colors. A blazer can take and outfit and spice it up. I paired it with a green sweater I also got from Jcpenny and it was only $5. They are having a major clearance on winter clothes right now.
These leggings from oldnavy are amazing.  I love the look as it resembles skinny jeans and the quality is great. Statement necklace from ebay for only $4. I enjoyed this look and hope you did as well.

Hi Fashionistas,

So lately I’ve been thrifting and finding some amazing items that I decided to make a post regarding it.

I love thrifting as you find unique and great finds like this tweed blazer. When I saw this blazer/jacket I knew it was for me. It was from my favorite store Ann Taylor Loft.  I remember when it was in the store. The jacket retails for $100 but I purchased it for $17 which is high for thrift store but I really wanted it.

I paired it with striped denim jeans and this amazing sweater from the gap that I caught on sale for $15. Statement jewelry from ebay. Boots I had for years and their from khols by Jennifer Lopez and leg warmers added an extra touch. It was a great look for work, especially if you work in a semi casual workplace.

This was one of my favorite looks and I cant wait to wear this blazer again. Hope you enjoy this look as much as i did.

Casual Weekends

Hi Fashionistas,

I hope everyone having a good week. I have been busy with work hence lack of posting and im also working on some other things to bring to the blog.

Weekends for me if I have no where to go I mostly relaxed and not dressed up since I mostly dress up during the week for work.

On Sundays I usually spend it with my husband as that is our only day off together. So for brunch I wore this cute but casual look.

A poncho is a great piece to have in your wardrobe as you can dress it up or down. By pairing with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt will add more to it.

For this time I wore it with some leggings and these cute leopard print uggs I purchased on sale recently. Paired it with my jcrew inspired necklace from ebay and my favorite glasses I was ready.

Everyone compliments me on these frames and asked where I purchased.  When I say ebay they are surprised and the fact they are prescription makes it better.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend.  I should have taking an extra day off so I can relax more as it was much needed. If you live in NYC then you know its snowing and I can’t wait for winter to be over cause im tired of snow.

When the weather was much better last week. I wore this amazing sweater dress I purchased from marshalls about two years ago and only wore it once. Shame on me. Its be Jessica Simpson and I love the tribal print feel to it. I paired it with this vest that’s from babyphat and with my coganic color boots. I loved the look and its a perfect outfit for work and date night if you dont have time to change.

Hi Fashionistas,

Today was a decent day compare to how cold it has been. This outfit I wore a little awhile go but nevertheless its a cute outfit.

I have issues with wearing flare skirts cause how it fits but when I saw this one at ann Taylor loft it needed to be in my collection.  I love the gold and black look with it. I paired it with a denim shirt from old navy. Statement necklace from ebay and boots were from nine west. Hat was from a local store but I loved it. Gave me the girly look.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday. I am happy the work week is winding down so I can rest. Its snowing once again in nyc but hey that’s mother nature for you.

As a blogger it tends to get hard sometimes with styling and keeping up with what you have. My issue I always have is buying one of something in every color or style. That is why for this year I decided im going to rework my closet because I have a lot of outfits that have not been worn or only worn once.

These printed pants are amazing. They are from H&M and a few of my blogger buddies have them as well. I purchased these pants last year on clearance.

When I first wore them I paired it with flats. In the winter you can wear summer or spring wardrobe by layering or adding boots like I did. I wore a sweater and a thrifted blazer. It was a great look. Im excited to figure out other ways to wear them.

How do you rework some of your items in your closet. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

I am happy for a three day weekend as I get to relax and enjoy myself. I was finally able to launch my new blog. I am working on transferring my old post to the new blog but I know it will take time but until then…

Yesterday I went to hang out with my friends and I decided for a sporty casual look. The overall trend has become very popular. I remembered as a child having a pair but they have become more fashionable.

I purchased my pair from my local jimmy jazz for about twenty dollars. I paired it with my thrifted denim jacket and sneakers. I loved the look and can not wait to wear them again.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone is doing well. I know i have not posted my usually outfit of the day or blog post because i was in the process of changing my blog. For the new year i made it a goal of mine to make some changes and improvements with my blog. Therefore now i have joined the community of WordPress and I am very happy about it. I will try to transfer my old post from blogspot to here as well but look forward to some brand new fashion styles by yours truly and much much more.
