Hi Fashionistas,

Have you ever had an outfit that you felt was not work appropriate but you really wanted to wear it. For me sometimes that is the case but then i realize by adding certain pieces like a button down shirt or blazer or cardigan can change the look quickly.

I adore this strapless midi dress from HM as its perfect for any occasion. I really wanted to wear it to work because it was great. I paired it with a button down shirt and instead of heels i wore flats and it was perfect.

Hi Fashionistas,

I know I said it before about how much I adore maxi skirts as I own a lot lol. This is actually one of my favorite ones I own cause it can be worn all year round literally.

I paired the skirt with a simple black tee shirt and paired a cute statement necklace along with my fedora hat and studded sandals.

I also wore this look last year with a leather jacket which I will post at the end. So this is one of my closet remixes and I think I love this look the most.  Which look do you prefer I would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope you all had a great weekend. I can say mines was really good. Now its back to the work grind. I recently updated my look and looking forward to some fun blogging pics in the future.

Now I love denim and a quick work look when running behind. Denim is a great look that can be dressed up or down. This was a look I wore to work recently.

The whole outfit was from oldnavy. I adore this Fox sweater that i wore before with a blazer and made it dressy so this casual way was cute. Paired it with my fringed boots and was on my way. This is also a great weekend look without trying too much. Hope you enjoy this look and have a great week.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a great weekend and also a great week. I go back to work today after being on vacation for two weeks and it was worth it. I had so needed the time off from work and also from blogging.

I enjoy blogging but sometimes it can become redundant. Im back and better than ever. We have been having some decent weather over the weekend.  I love being casual on the weekends.

Prints are all the wage and I love everything about it. I took my sequin lip sweatshirt from forever21 awhile ago and I love it. It has been a great staple in my closet.  Last time I paired it with boots and faux leather skater skirt.

For this look I paired it with some ripped jeans and a lepoard blazer who knew it would go together.  How adorable are these leopard slip on sneakers from steve madden.  They were a Christmas gift from the husband.

This is a perfect look for running errands and being comfortable.  You could also switch it out with heels yo dress it up more.  How do you pair your sweatshirt love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday. It has been freezing in nyc and im looking forward to warmer weather. I love a good pencil skirt and old navy last year had some good ones to the point I bought one in every color lol I know shoppers issues.  I love this skirt for the bold colors and it was the perfect closet remix whoot whoot. This skirt is the perfect all year round to wear.

I paired it this time with a cute studded sweatshirt from H&M that I got for $5 yeah you heard me and paired it with my favorite thrifted denim jacket for $5 as well. The coganic color boots was that extra touch.  One of my favorite outfits.

The last time I wore this skirt was in the summer with a peplum top and sandals. Two great looks for different seasons. Hope you enjoyed.

Hi Fashionistas,

Its Thursday so that means the weekend is almost here. I heard we are going to get a major snow storm again in NYC on sunday which im not looking forward to.

If you saw my post from last week then you know that its Thrifted Thursdays.  I want show you my thrift finds and how I styled it.  This one is also a closet remix as I have worked this before. So be mindful its pic heavy in this post.

When target had this Lela Rowe dress I wanted but missed out on it. One day I decided to go to goodwill and check it out to see what thrifting is about and long behold I found this dress. This was my first thrift purchase and I was excited.

This dress is amazing from the floral details to the high low affect of the dress. Its a great peice you can dress up or down. When I first wore the dress I paired it with some floral print peep toe shoes and a jean jacket. 

This time I paired it as a skirt with a button down blouse and this amazing tweed motor jacket I got at Jcpenny for an amazing price.

The look was cute and perfect for work. The statement necklace from ebay added the finished look. Hope everyone enjoys this look. Leave comments below.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday. I am happy the work week is winding down so I can rest. Its snowing once again in nyc but hey that’s mother nature for you.

As a blogger it tends to get hard sometimes with styling and keeping up with what you have. My issue I always have is buying one of something in every color or style. That is why for this year I decided im going to rework my closet because I have a lot of outfits that have not been worn or only worn once.

These printed pants are amazing. They are from H&M and a few of my blogger buddies have them as well. I purchased these pants last year on clearance.

When I first wore them I paired it with flats. In the winter you can wear summer or spring wardrobe by layering or adding boots like I did. I wore a sweater and a thrifted blazer. It was a great look. Im excited to figure out other ways to wear them.
