Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday.  I hope everyone weekend was blessed and amazing.  If you follow me on snap chat then you know my weekend consisted of just being present and living in the moment. There are often times we forget about the simple things in life such as being with our family and friends especially when you are always busy and on the go.

For me that is my life at times so I dedicated the whole weekend spending time with my husband and family which is always a great time.

Now on to the look :). Gray is like the new black in many ways as it goes well with some many colors believe it or not. I paired one of my favorite midi skirts with this nice leopard print top that I purchased from h and m last year. Paired it with a cute suede moto jacket and leopard flats and the look was perfect.

I like to call it my working girl on the move look lol. I am always on the go.

Weekend Attire

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday  and I hope everyone had a great weekend. Two weekends ago I was able to shoot with a fellow blmgirl in my group and it was so fun. We call it photo swapping because we all know at times it can be hard to afford a photographer or in my chances get my husband to take my photos all the time. So it was fun to have someone else Try a shot.

Let’s get to the look. This thrifted military jacket was on my thrift wish list for so long , so when I was able to purchase it from one of my favorite shops on instagram missrockwellracks I was too excited.

It was perfect and I added three broaches to the jacket to give it my extra touch. I paired it with some boyfriend jeans and a thrifted sweater and wore my sequin keds.

This look is perfect for the weekend to just enjoy and relax. The clutch was the extra touch. I’m such a fan of the show a different world so when I saw this clutch from kashmir I fell in love.

Hi Fashionistas,

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a great start to their work week. I received some amazing news for myself and I am so excited. It just goes to show that in God’s timing everything works it’s self out.

If you know me then you know I love a good maxi skirt they are so comfy and great to wear. They are my go to especially when running late lol.

This is one of my favorite maxi skirts as its colorful and has a fun print to it. I decided to being the skirt out by wearing a did color sweater and pairing it with a denim jacket.

I opted to wear booties which I’m currently obessed with and these sam edelman ones I adore especially for the print.

Can we talk about this cool background I found right in my neighborhood it was so perfect with my look. Although I’m a queens girl I rep the bronx lol.

A mother’s love

Happy saturday. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Mothers day is tomorrow and I wanted to share this special post about my favorite lady which is my mother.

Although mothers day is one day we should appreciate our mothers everyday . Even if it’s a mother figure,  friend, sister or cousin it does not matter.

Growing up my mom raised me as a single parent and I seen how hard she works and still till this day she is working hard to provide for her family. She has giving me so much that I know I could never repay her.

So I wrote this little note to her which I title a mother’s love.

A mother’s love

A mother love is something that you can understand at times.

You think what does it mean to love or does my mom really love me. If she loved me why is she always yelling at me. Why she always makes me do chores when I do not want to.

When I had that big exam you made me stay home for the weekend to study until I was confident in my work.

You are always there to provide me with the Guidance and support I need.
Showing me right from wrong even when I do not want to hear it.

You are a true example of showing how much hard work you have done in order to provide for your children.

Growing up with only you as a parent I did not understand why and felt I was missing out by not having a father in my life but you proved me wrong by being both mom and dad for me.

As a child I felt you never gave me a
break but as an adult I realize how much you scarfice for me to be where I am today.

I am happy that you pave the way for me to be who I am and allow me to make the choices and decisions for myself even if you did not agree.

For this I say I love you and I appreciate you. Happy mothers day.

Happy Tuesday. Hope everyone had a blessed and amazing weekend. I had to say mines was cool can not complain as things can be worse.

I know the title your wondering the cold shoulder right lol. The cold shoulder trend is really trending strong and I wanted to try it out.

What better is way is with this crop off the shoulder shirt I scored at my local marshalls for 4 dollars can you believe. I love a good deal. I paired it with some cargo crop pants and some wedges.

I adored this look as you can wear this to go out on a date or a girls night out.

Live in Color

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Thursday. I hope everyone has had a great week so far. Sorry for being MIA but im back.  It has been a long week for me which makes it hard to post at times. I have been working hard to give some new and exciting content for you so stay tune.

This Tunic was another thrift find of minds at my local good will a few months ago. This blouse was only five dollars but what i love was the colors as they were the perfect mixture for spring, not to bright and not to dull lol.

I decided to pair the top with some color jeans and added a neutral sandal. This faux leather studded pale/blush pink jacket was a gift from my husband and added my favorite statement necklace gave the look the extra touch.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Thursday. I hope everyone has been enjoying their week and making the best of it. I wanted to share with you my look from Easter Sunday. As i spent it with my family which is always a good time when we get together.

I enjoy wearing light colors especially pastel colors. I was able to finally wear this amazing dress from my favorite store New York and Company. It is from the eva mendes collection and i was able to pay only $20 dollars for the dress which was a steal. I love the colors and the mix of burgundy and pinks. I paired the outfit with a light blush pink blazer and these amazing sparkly blush color shoes from DSW.

I really loved the whole look and enjoyed hearing an amazing word on that day from my pastor. I hope you enjoy the look. Until next time.

Happy Tuesday . Hope everyone had a great weekend. It has been a long one for me but i realized expressing my fashion and sense of style on this platform makes me feel so good and cheers me up especially the support that i get from all of you.

This was one of my recent work looks that i adore. This floral skirt with lace detail is so amazing and the material was so great as well. I wore a lace button down shirt and added a leather trench vest to make the look pop. If you havent notice i love trench vest and have been doing a lot of DIY ones on my own like this one.

These over the knee boots are so comfortable as they were from C wonder a store that is no longer here whomp whomp lol. Well i hope you enjoy this look. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

We are almost closer to the end of the work week and I’m so looking forward to the weekend.

So I know you wondering about the title and yes I am talking about bum bum cream lol. This product by sol Janeiro is amazing. It states that it is for the bum bum but it works amazing on your legs and thighs.

I have been using it for the past three weeks and I love it.  It is an amazing product as it smells so good.

I totally think everyone should try this. I can’t wait to show how amazing my legs look once the weather is better :).

For the Fringe of It

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Tuesday, Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was able to spend mines doing so spring cleaning. I’m currently cleaning out my closets which is long overdue and very much needed. If you have been following me for awhile then you know how much i love fringe. When i found this skirt at my local thrift store i almost want to do a cartwheel, back flip and run around the store literally because i loved the skirt. The fact it was my size made it perfect for me.

The Skirt i only paid drum-roll please…..$9.oo yes that’s right and it had the tags attached to it so it was still new. The retail price was $129.00. I decided i wanted to make the skirt standout so i paired it with a simple black long sleeve top and wore some leopard studded pumps.

I actually wore this look to an event i was able to attend which i will talk about soon. It was perfect. I would wear this look for special occasion or a regular date night with the hubs. I, hope you enjoy the look , until next time.
