Hi Fashionistas,
Have you ever had an outfit that you felt was not work appropriate but you really wanted to wear it. For me sometimes that is the case but then i realize by adding certain pieces like a button down shirt or blazer or cardigan can change the look quickly.
I adore this strapless midi dress from HM as its perfect for any occasion. I really wanted to wear it to work because it was great. I paired it with a button down shirt and instead of heels i wore flats and it was perfect.

Hi Fashionistas,
Happy Wedensday. Today is going to be a hot one so im going to try and keep cool the best way I can. I know your wondering about the title of my new post. Now I have stated how much I love midi skirts as I feel they are classic and look great dressed up or down.
I recently purchased this midi skirt from my local H & M and when I first saw it was love at first site lol. I kove the material and design so I purchased right away. It does come with a matching crop top but I love the skirt on its own.
I paired it with my red peplum top from express from last summer and had it tucked in. I wore it with my studded flats and wore bright yellow jewlery to bring out that part of the skirt.
One of my young ladies I talk with in my neighborhood called my skirt grandma skirt and I laughed. I told her its because she is young but this is a fashion. Hence where the title come from.
It also made me realized that I do not care to be like everyone else and im enjoying the changes I see in my overall style. I received many compliments on this outfit and I look forward to wearing this skirt again. I hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did. Until next time.
Floral Midi Skirt

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine doing some relaxation. Every now and then a break is needed from blogging because giving you the same blah would be boring lol.
I told you before how much I live midi skirts so wouldn’t it be my luck to stumble upon a floral number from H&M. What I loved about the skirt was the design. It had a floral graphite effect which I loved. Not to take away from the skirt. I paired it with a simple white shirt and my combat boots to give it an edge. I loved everything about this skirt and would wear it again with heels or sneakers.

Floral and Lace

Happy Wedensday. Its a fab day here in NYC. I try to enjoy nice days like this especially when I have to work. Im really loving floral right now and notice my closet has been growing with a lot of floral peices.
This look was all about two favorites lace and floral. I purchased this H&M peplum top a few years ago and its still a great piece. I paired it with these lace pants I purchased from ann taylor loft which are amazing. The shoes are from nine west and blazer from local store rainbow. Statement necklace recent purchase from ebay.
Perfect look for this great spring weather. Hope you enjoyed this look as much as I did.
Midi Skirt Style Two Ways

Its been hard for me to blog like I uses to as my job has been very busy. I still take photos but its hard to post so bear with me.
I live midi skirts because they are classy and elegant where it can also provide you with many various options.
When H&M came out with their midi skirts I was obsessed with them. I love the cut and quality. These skirt I purchased last year but I know I will be in a lot of use this year.
I wore this look to support my fellow blogger friend Carriepink launch event. Which was amazing and a lot of fun.
For the event I paired my midi skirt with these amazing bcbg shoes I scored at t.j max.
For work I wore my floral print oxfords from the gap. My plaid scarf and leather jacket was the extra touch. I loved this look and it shows you can wear a lot with the midi skirt.

Happy Hump Day. I love skirts and dresses as they are the easiest looks to put together especially being on the go. I always wanted to wear suspenders but wasnt sure how to style it but then I came across this skirt that had suspenders attached which was perfect. I paired it with my phillip lim floral button down shirt and my favorite motor jacket from H & M. This was a look I wore out with my mother over the weekend. I loved it and look forward to suspenders more in my looks.

Hi Fashionistas,
Its wedensday aka hump day and almost closer to the week being over. There are days I will dress up but then I have my dress down days will I will throw on a sneakers and jeans. It just depends on my mood and how I feel from time to time. Most ladies say they dont wear sneakers because its not lady like lol. You cant not wear heels everyday cause it will drive your foot crazy.
I recently purchased these micheal kors calf hair kicks at Macy at an amazing clearance price. I loved the style and two different animal print on the front and side.
I kept my look simple cause I wanted the sneakers to stand out in which they did. I wore a simple white sweater and paired it with a printed blazer from hm. A blazer can make any look great. This is a great way to show that you can dress down a blazer as well as dressing it up.
I loved this look cause it was simple. Remember fashion is all about how you an individual expresses their own style, cause if we all dressed a like it would be boring lol. Hope you enjoyed the look. Until next time.
