Hi Fashionistas,

Happy thursday.  I know it’s been awhile but I finally have a new blog post for you. I love the holidays but not everyone wants to be fully glamorous so I have a cute casual look that is perfect.

I adore this purple midi skirt. I purchased this skirt from shein a few years back and it is still my favorite.  The blouse was a five dollar find and the boots are an oldie but goodie.

Hi Fashionistas,

This will be a short post as it has been a long work day.  I wanted to share with you this fun look I wore a few weeks back to an event.

I love sequins and this skirt was amazing and it’s thrifted which is a plus. I got it for 10 dollars which is a steal. I enjoyed wearing it.

I wanted the skirt to stand out so I wore it with a black top and my favorite heels.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday. The weekend is here and im looking forward to it. This is actually my last week of vacation and im so not looking forward to going back to work but bills are not going to pay themselves now are they lol.

I love wearing all black as it is classic and sleek and makes you slim might I add lol.

I actually scored this cute t shirt from old Navy for 4 dollars and the saying was perfect. I paired with my black leggings and these floral high top sneakers from just fab which are super cute.

This would be the perfect casual friday and just weekend wear for me which is pretty much how I have been dressing since on vacation.

Hi Fashionistas,

So on October 8 was my birthday and I enjoyed it. This year was not over the top like I would normally do which I was surprised but the year that I had low key was what I wanted.

I mostly spent the day relaxing and went to the nails salon but at night I knew I was going to dinner with my husband.

Faux fur is a great fashion statement and it makes a bold statement with any outfit.

I decided to pair my vest with this striped two piece set. I scored at at express for extremely cheap which is great. Cause we know I love a sale.

I paired it with my grey sling back pumps which are about six inches high and drove me crazy but I loved it.

I’m tying to try and style a little different by taking risks. I hope you enjoy this look. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Thursday and I am so happy because it is my birthday. I am thankful to see another year and im looking forward to be more amazing as i embrace another year of being older. I just wanted to share a cute look that i wore recently. I enjoy wearing bright colors and feel that they can be incorporated for the fall season. Orange has been that color and ive been wanting to try it out.

I paired this midi skirt i scored on clearance at my favorite store New York and Company. I love midi skirts especially ones that have pockets. I paired it with a light denim button down shirt and some turquoise boots.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday. Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I wanted to share with you my experience that I had recently. Almost two weeks ago I celebrated my two year wedding anniversary. Time has went so fast as I remember when I was planning and getting it together.

So my husband surprised me by taking me to the botanical Garden since I have never been there before. Yes I know this new yorker has not been there. The day we went it was pretty warm so it was perfect.

I love being able to look at all the amazing plants and flowers and learning about it. I was also able to see the Frida exhibit which I suggest everyone go see as it was worth it.

Since I knew I was going to be walking around I opted for a real casual look. I paired some boyfriend jeans with my altuzarra sweatshirt and micheal kors sneakers. I love these sneakers as the patent leather and frindge details are great. I wore my floral print motor jacket I scored from express awhile back on clearance.

The look was comfortable and one I would wear for running errands on traveling. Hope you enjoy the look. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy tuesday hope everyone is having a great start to their week. Last week was a crazy week for me but I was able to regroup and refocus so now I’m ready lol.

When I saw this skirt from my local rainbow store yes you heard me rainbow I had to have it. It was only 16 dollars. I love the hi-lo look and the material was amazing. It also had pockets which was a win lol.

So I paired it with a denim button down shirt I scored from target in the boys section. I decided to paired the look with these fab gold and black oxfords from shein they are so comfy and I loved how they looked on me.

I actually wore this look to work and I received many compliments. I could have switched out the look with some heels and a crop blouse to give it a different look.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday I know this is a late post but I have been so busy with work that I really have not had time to blog. So my apologies.

Almost two weeks ago I attended the second annual essence street style event. Now I went last year so this was my second time and I overall enjoyed myself.

I feel it was more crowded this year than the previous year so it made it hard to sign up for the makeup and hair event by Shea mositure. There was also a mani service station as well as clothing and food vendors.

I was able to meet fashion stylist to the starts Shaun melson and she was amazing she complimented me on my purse so I was on cloud nine lol.

For my look I knew I wanted to be casual and but cute as well as comfortable. So I wore my two piece set from express with my glitter converse sneakers.

This was also my debut of my hair lol. I rarely wear my natural hair but I decided to and it brought the whole look together. I paired the look with a jean jacket.

If I wanted a more dressy look heels would change the entire look. I hope you enjoy this look. Until next time.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy friday the weekend has arrived and I am so excited because I am getting closer to my time off from work. Which is much needed lol.

I wanted to share with you this look I wore recently. I love denim and I live shopping in my closet. You forget about great items you have such as this distressed denim skirt.

I owned this skirt for years and just stopped wearing them and now denim skirts are back in trend as there are so many hi waisted, midi and even the long ones which I love.

For this look I wore denim times three. So I was denim on Denim on Denim lol. I paired the skirt with a denim pill over shirt and then added this distressed oversized jean jacket I thrifted. It’s actually one of my favorite jackets.

For statement purpose I paired it with a my leopard print booties which I felt made the outfit stand out more. It was a great look that can be worn for a casual date or hanging out with the girls.
