Hi Fashionistas,

Hope  all is well with you and  you all had a great weekend.  Fall is finally here and i am too excited about it. Fall is my favorite  season especially since my bday is in October.

Two weeks ago it rained a little and it was cold. So it was the perfect time to pull out my boots. I love boots too.

I love this skirt from  sheinside offical is great.  Green is a great color for spring  and fall. The first time i paired it with a tshirt blazer and flats.

This time i paired  it with a button down shirt. I love this thrifted one from my local goodwill i scored awhile back and my tan over the knee boots was the perfect touch.

Vintage Jumpsuit

Hi Fashionistas,

We are almost at the home stretch at the end of the busy work week. I guess I’m more excited because today is my Friday as I am off from work on Thursday. 

I love vintage clothing especially items that are thrifted. I scored this vintage number from a boutique off of instagram for $10 which is a steal. I loved everything about it from the stone wash detail and everything. 

I paired it with a belt to cinch it in more and paired it with my wedge shoes and hat. I received so many compliments in this look which I adored.  What I love about this jumpsuit is you can wear it with sneakers or boots which I plan to do so look out for more of this.

Hi Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday were halfway through the week and I’m looking forward to this weekend as it is my wedding anniversary weekend. I will talk more about that in another post. 

Now we know everyone says you are not suppose to wear white after labor day but I don’t follow rules. I love to dress how I feel. In this case wearing white lol.

I love this zip up sleeveless dress that was gifted to me by my husband awhile back. I wore it to a party this past weekend.  Instead of dressing it up I decided to pair my sneakers with it which I loved hence the purple.

It was very cute and I was complemented alot. So do you stick with rules or like to do your own thing. Love to hear your thoughts.

Pleated Maxi Skirt

Hi Fashionistas,

I know I said it before about how much I adore maxi skirts as I own a lot lol. This is actually one of my favorite ones I own cause it can be worn all year round literally.

I paired the skirt with a simple black tee shirt and paired a cute statement necklace along with my fedora hat and studded sandals.

I also wore this look last year with a leather jacket which I will post at the end. So this is one of my closet remixes and I think I love this look the most.  Which look do you prefer I would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine with friends and I was able to attend the essence block party fest. It was an overall great experience especially for those that can not get to attend the major events for fashion week.  I will talk about fashion week in another post.

I love the kimono trend because it can make any outfit go from blah to great with a little boost. I purchased this floral kimon from my local rainbows store for about $16 which was very affordable. 

I love the floral and lace print together. I paired it with a peplum top and some skinny jeans.  Added this cute gap flats and accessories and it was a perfect casual work outfit for me.

Crazy Dress

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I spent it with family and friends bbq it up. We laughed and ate really good. I can’t believe we are in September where has summer gone. Although I’m a fall person. I can say for us new yorkers we really did not have a summer.

I have been told I own a lot of clothes to the point it appears I only wear things once or not at all. So I put myself on a mission to try and wear most of my items that have been sitting in my closet for awhile.

Hence this peter pilotto dress from target I purchased a few months back on clearance for about $20 which I was happy about. I loved everything about this dress.  From the print to the fit.

I actually wore this dress to church a few Sundays ago. I wore it with a bright neon yellow jacket which was not picture.  I wore my zara flats as I wanted the dress to stand out which it did.

Excuse the quality of the pics. I had my 15 year old brother take them for me. To winterize this dress you can wear it with a leather jacket and boots which I will do. So look out for this dress again on the blog. Hope everyone has a great week.

Colorful Pants

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone doing well. Are you guys excited as I am about the three day weekend that is approaching us. I’m looking forward to some relaxation and just enjoying time with family and friends. 

Now I have been trying to shop my closet more and not spend much for new items since I have a few items I have not got to wear at all as of yet.

A few summers ago I purchased some jumpers where I loved them but then I hated them after a while.  I guess that’s what happens when your style changes.  So I was going to part with the items and donate them but then I came up with an idea of making them into harem style pants.

Which is the end result if what you are currently seeing now. I simply just folded the jumper since it has elastic and it was good to wear. I paired it with a tank and a chambray shirt which I’m obsessed with styling it with all my clothing items over dress and etc.

My rose gold nike sky hi dunks gave the outfit the extra kick to the outfit lol.  Hopefully you enjoy this look and look forward to your comments.

Favorite Maxi Dress

Hi Fashionistas,

You ever have a favorite item in your closet that you just adore and can not get rid of well that’s me all the way. This dress is one of my favorites as it has the bold prints and colors all in one which is a plus in my opinion. 

I purchased this dress about a year ago when I was doing my wedding planning.  I stumbled upon a warehouse that sells amazing dresses for cheap. When I saw this one I had to have it. The quality was amazing and the dress was unique and different. 

I paired it with some gold flats from forever 21 last year and I love the shoes they are comfy and are my go to.

A maxi dress is my quick go to outfit to just throw on and go especially when running late. Hope you enjoy this look .

Hi Fashionistas,

Hope everyone is doing well. Summer is almost over and I wonder where has the months went as it was not as hot as I thought it would be. I more of a fall weather girl so bring it on lol.

This was a look I wore to a birthday event I attended.  I had to work earlier so I wanted to wear something work appropriate as well.

I adore midi skirts for that reason as they are perfect and age appropriate in my opinion.  There are a lot of ways to style a midi skirt.

For this one I decided to wear a silk floral thrifted button down blouse that I scored at good will for seven dollars and it is by calvin Klein which is a double plus. The skirt was from ebay but it was gifted to me by the company after an error that was made.

I didn’t realize the skirt was see through but lucky my shirt was long enough but next time I know. The shoes I love.  Purchased from Dsw awhile back and they are unique and  comfortable at the same time.

Feeling Blue

Hi Fashionistas,

T.G.I.F Who else besides myself is happy the weekend is approaching.  I’m just excited to not have any major plans this weekend as I have been extremely busy for the past weekends. Looking forward to organizing my house.

I know the title feeling blue can mean many things but for me it’s about this navy blue flowy dress that I scored from NY and Company for only $13 yes you see correctly.

I actually wore thus dress on one of the nights out on the town while I was away in punta cana.  I love how the dress look and feel. You could also wear it without the belt to if you want a different look.

I paired it with my clutch and sandals which were part of my basic trip essentials.  The key to packing is to pack a shoe that goes with most of your outfits. That way you do not overpack.

I loved everything about this look and I’m excited to wear this dress again.  So stay tune and look forward to your comments.
